I have been painting around 30 years without any formal training other than college and scattered classes along my journey. I never saw myself as an Artist/Painter until I was 40.

I delved into Jungian Psychology and this expanded the way I viewed art as not being separate but an expression of self. I continued with a series of what I call Metamorphic Resonances, termed by the Philosopher Rupert Sheldrake, and felt comfortable in this field experimenting with new styles. My first influences were Kandinsky, O`Keefe and currently Klee and Miro.

Words that describe my process are shamanic, tribal, symbolism and archetypal. I am inspired by the diversity of landscape and nature, the change of weather that provides a great colour range and inspiration for my artwork. I currently work from my home based gallery.
