An absolute favourite photo from my cloud library. As a paid up member of the Cloud
Appreciation Society (that is a real thing), I shouldn’t have favourites. We all see
something different in the same cloud, and here it is frozen in time, whereas in real
life, it was a transient thing.

About the artist
Born and brought up in South Devon, Claire has now lived in New Zealand for half of her life. Her subjects reflect her abiding passion for architecture and interiors, with an ever increasing respect for the absolute beauty of the South Island landscape. A move to Nelson has seen her concentrate on painting in acrylics, her chosen medium for their flexibility and quick drying time. Her paintings blend accuracy and detail on the one hand, with imagination and storytelling on the other.
