'Inspired by a neighbours’ charcoal sketches while growing up In Auckland, I started to sketch during my travels as an international sailor. Sketching ,colour and art history were subjects studied during an interior design diploma and further watercolour tuition with Stephen Thomas in Hong Kong. Having a passion for nature especially the ocean I am inspired to paint. The human soul opens up to colour and light. Artists can promote wellbeing and delight of the world around us, promoting a sense of balance through light and colour, a dynamic equilibrium.'

Jenny has completed a 3 year diploma of ‘art and creativity’ in 2022 through The Learning Connection (Wellington) and continues her creative pathway at her studio in Ruby Bay. She has exhibited in Thailand, Hong Kong and Nelson.
